Madonna, D&G, Steven Klein, la gallina. ¿Cómo llegaste a esto? Se rumoreó que ibas a estar en el shooting original para la revista W en Rio de Janeiro, donde apareció Jesús Luz.
Todo esto empezó cuando Klein vino a cubrir el show de Madonna en Argentina. Ahí realicé un casting para hacer fotos con él, para la revista Electric Youth. Después de hacer las fotos, Steven me invitó a conocer a Madonna en una fiesta despedida que se realizó en un hotel de Buenos Aires. Y estuve en opción para hacer fotos con ella para la W, pero no se dio. Después cuando Picky Courtois, director de Civiles y mi manager, me dijo que quedé para la campaña de D&G junto a ella me puse súper felíz
El trato con Madonna, ¿cómo fue también? La pregunta es evidente: ¿qué onda la señora?
Fue muy natural, mantuvo un trato de igual a igual. Ni bien se bajó de su auto, cruzó toda la gente y me vino a saludar. Yo no pensé nunca que eso iba a pasar. Y mi círculo íntimo se portó de la mejor manera. Con mucho apoyo y mucho amor, sobre todo a Lu, mi novia y modelo también de Civiles, por cómo me bancó en los momentos malos.
Máquina del tiempo: ¿cómo fue el primer viaje y el primer desfile en el exterior?
El primer viaje fue el más divertido de todos, llegué a Milán con 20 años, sin entender qué estaba pasando pero con algo dentro mío que me decía que estaba haciendo lo correcto. Y el primer laburo fue increíble, por que lo conseguí en la calle. Yo estaba perdido saliendo de un casting en el cual me rebotaron mal y me encuentro con el productor afuera que me pide ver mi book y me contrata, muy loco.
De todos estos años de viajar y vivir en el exterior, ¿qué aprendiste? ¿Qué te deja en experiencia acumulada?
Aprendí mucho, sinceramente. Al que tenga la posibilidad de viajar, se lo recomiendo. Te abre la cabeza. Llegué a Europa hablando español y volví hablando inglés, portugues e italiano. Y creo que el viajar moldeó mi personalidad.

Siguiendo el credo Zoolander,¿qué más hay aparte de ser ridículamente good-looking? ¿Qué es lo que importa en todo esto?
Importan los mismos criterios que para cualquier trabajo. Puntualidad, responsabilidad y por sobre todo buena onda. Siento que soy un afortunado por tener la posibilidad de viajar por el mundo con mi trabajo. Éste es un medio en el cual hay que ser vivo, ya que te abre muchas puertas.
Vida en New York: ¿cómo es? ¿Cómo resulta extrañar casa?
La vida en New York está muy buena. Me siento muy seguro y me encanta el hecho de que cada uno está en su propio mundo. Y llevo bien el extrañar porque viajo siempre con Lu, mi novia. En el último viaje tuve la suerte de que mis viejos me puedan venir a visitar.
Te recibiste en Publicidad.
Me recibí en la Fundación de Altos Estudios. Es un título terciario, son tres años y para recibir la Licenciatura tengo que hacer un año más. Con respecto al aprendizaje, en Argentina estuve trabajando como productor además de seguir con el modelaje. Y creo que las tres cosas se fusionan bastante bien, saqué un poco de cada una para armarme como un producto final y salir a venderme. Y por suerte como productor me fue muy bien, asi que dejé esa puertita abierta para un futuro.
Momento más vergonzoso de tu vida.
Fue una foto que tuve que hacer con cuatro 4 chicas en calzones, y la idea era que ellas se peleaban por mi. Me daban besos y en un momento tuve que salir del shooting porque se empezó a notar que la pelea de las chicas había surtido efecto.
¿Y el más glorioso de tu vida profesional?
El momento glorioso es éste, ya que después de realizar la campaña de Dolce & Gabbana con Madonna se me abre una puerta importante.
¿El futuro? ¿Cómo sigue?
En lo personal, no parar de viajar. Concentrarme en aprovechar lo que está surgiendo en lo profesional y enriquecerme con experiencias de vida. En lo laboral, New York a fines de agosto para hacer la Fashion Week, y me instalo allá por un tiempo largo. Vuelvo a Buenos Aires antes de fin de año, para hacer la segunda temporada de Herencia Argentina, y pasar las fiestas en familia. Luego, enero a Paris y Milan, y luego veremos. Sin dudas, veo un destino cercano con mucho check in.
